First of all, thank you so much for visiting my blog, I'm so happy you're here.

Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself and my adventure.

          My name is Abby and I recently moved to Carthage, IL with my boyfriend, Braxton. Braxton and I live in the coziest little house on Walnut Street. I was first inspired to write a blog when we moved in here so I thought that it was appropriate to include our street name in my blog name. Braxton actually picked out the name of my blog. His reason for the title: "because our house is brown and it's on Walnut Street."

I thought it was clever.

I have had the best time picking out decorations for our new house (with a little input from Braxton and yes he actually does help pick out all of the decorations).

My goal is to inspire creativity within whoever needs to be inspired. I hope that some

of my pointers and ideas will help you create a cozy home that you love and share with your family and friends.

     I like to think of myself as a free spirit who loves a good adventure and good food. I've been helping my momma and my grandma out in the kitchen (mostly licking the spoon) ever since I can remember. I've grown to love cooking and experimenting with new recipes by adding my own little twist on them. I plan on using this blog as a way to share some 'Braxton approved' recipes with you all as well as some

good home decorating tips and maybe even some of my life experiences/favorite travel destinations!
